A Trip to Sigiriya
It was a Saturday. There were our family members and a few others on that journey.We started the journey around five in the morning.we had breakfast at 7 am in Kurunegala Junction.Then we reached Sigiriya around 9 am.
Our vehicle was parked on the road and reached Sigiriya Fort on foot.Wow! It was very interesting Fort in our country.We found many amazing places along the way.

Then we reached the foot of the Sigiriya rock.It had a lion's foot carving.↑

Next you can see the stunning upstairs.↴
At the top we see the ruins of a palace.Evidence has been found that this palace was the palace of King Kasyapa.
It is said that this stone was used by King Kashyapa during the war.
Finally,I must say that this is a must visit.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
